SR1 vs SR2 vs RR1
- Premier SR1 — best first upgrade on stock mounts
- Premium SR2 — best seller; more travel or lower stance with relocation mounts
- Platinum RR1 — SR2-level capability plus compression adjusters you can change on the fly
All three are built with the same quality components and the same obsession with fitment. You’re choosing configuration and control — not “good / better / best” internals.

Premier SR1 — the stock-mount upgrade
Remember: longer than 13″ in the stock location will cause contact between the axle nut and full-length exhaust on the right side — ask us before you order.
Premium SR2 — most bagger riders land here
SR2 uses Super Shox relocation mounts so we can give you more stroke, a lower rear, or both, without the ugly compromises of a random lowering kit. The LT 14″ is the “this is what Harley should have shipped” setup for rough roads and loaded touring. SL and XSL bring the rear down while keeping travel that still works.
Valving and spring rate are built for the relocated geometry — that’s the difference between a shock that simply fits and a shock that rides.
Platinum RR1 — when you want a dial, not a compromise
Remote mounts near the passenger peg area mean you can change settings without tools or removing the saddle bags. This is a fine tuning step not a replacement for spring pre-load adjustment.
Who should buy which?
Buy SR1 if you want the biggest improvement per dollar and you’re fine with stock mounts.
Buy SR2 if you tour two-up, hate choppy pavement, or want a lowered stance that still impresses with ride quality.
Buy RR1 if you change loads often or simply like having real damping control from the saddle.
