Super Shox – Touring
Super Shox has three distinct series of shocks for Touring models: Premier SR1, Premium SR2 and Platinum RR1. All are built to the same quality standards and utilize the same parts. The differences are in the way the shock is set up.
The Premier Series is for use in the stock location. The Premium Series comes with a relocation mount that moves the shock mounting point back to allow for a longer travel shock to fit or for lower ride height. The Platinum Series has remote compression adjusters that mount in a reachable location near the passenger foot peg / boards and can be set up to work with or without the relocation mounts.
Super Shox are not a one size fits all or the typical standard / heavy option we go further with a wide selection of shocks, spring rates and damping rates to get the perfect fit for the bike, the rider and type of riding. This sets Super Shox apart from other rear suspension upgrades available on the market today.
With Super Shox riders will:
- Feel improve ride quality and overall handling and stability of their bike
- Have options to lower their ride height while improving ride quality
- Have more shock travel for added comfort when riding 2-up and / for long distance touring without raising their current ride height
- Have a superior ride for all road conditions with adjustability

Huge Improvement Over Stock Suspension
The Super Shox Premier Series will impress you with a smooth ride as small bumps disappear and the big hits are minimized. With precise tuning comes plenty of corner carving grip for even the most aggressive riders. These shocks have an easy to adjust and tune preload like no other shock that allows you to have the optimal setting for your riding style. This is a great shock for touring models that deliver all around comfort for day trips and those occasional weekend rides solo or 2 up.
The use of a shock longer than 13″ in the stock mounting location will cause axle nut to muffler clearance on the right side with full length exhaust systems.

Premium Series LT 14″
Great for Solo Riding/Great for 2-Up Riding/Great for Long Distance Touring
The Premium LT 14″ delivers an amazing ride with the ability to soak up nasty bumps and holes with 3-1/2” of travel. With easy to adjust and tune preload like no other shock you will have the setting that best suits you and your riding style. Riders who like to load up the bags and head out on the highway looking for an adventure or just cruise the back roads will love the comfort and handling of the Premium Series. You will want to ride more miles and farther away from home with the way these shocks increase stability and control giving you a higher level of confidence. Engineered with the correct spring rate and damping to work with Super Shox robust relocation mounts, ride height is maintained even with a long travel shock. Solo or 2-up the Premium Series delivers ride quality you didn’t know was possible.
For bikes with 13″ stock length shocks the LT has a 1/2″ lower ride height due to more sag than the stock shock for a better ride over rougher roads.
For bikes with 12″ stock length shocks the LT has the same ride height as the stock shock for maximum travel at stock height.

Premium Series SL 13.5″ / XSL 13″
Great for Solo Riding/ Good for 2-Up Riding
The SL 13.5” and XSL 13” Super Shox Premium Series give riders options for lower height and improved ride quality that makes riding more fun and easier to handle at slow speeds. With the included robust shock relocation mount the SL and XLS deliver an impressive ride that glides over small stuff and handles the big hits with 3” of travel to prevent bone jarring hits. Making these the best lowering shock option with more travel that is tuned to perform using a relocation mount. Solo or 2-up you will not be disappointed with the Premium Series low options.
*When using low height shocks check for proper tire clearance and suspension movement in all areas
*XSL Series cannot be used on touring models that have 18″ rear tires
For bikes with 13″ stock length shocks the SL has a 1″ lower ride height and the XSL drops the ride height by 1.5″
For bikes with 12″ stock length shocks the SL has a 1/2″ lower ride height and the XSL drops the ride height by 1″ for the lowest height possible.

Platinum Series RR1
Takes the Super Shox Premium Series to another level!
Available in three length configurations the Platinum Series delivers the ultimate ride and handling with dual 8-position compression adjusters and optional remote adjustability while riding. With the Platinum Series, you will have the perfect damping setting for any road, solo or 2-up with the bags filled or empty. When going out for that relaxing back roads ride select a softer setting for a plusher ride, when you’re ready to pick up the pace and hit some twisty roads change to a stiffer setting for a sportier ride. If you are feeling the bigger bumps select a stiffer setting, if the little bumps are noticeable select a softer setting. Combined with easy to adjust and tune preload like no other shock you will have the setting that best suits you and your riding style. You will be amazed at the way these shocks soak up bumps and holes and keep the tires connected to the road for greater control and stability through corners and curves on dry or wet roads. Just like the Premium Series the Platinum Series is engineered and tuned to work with Super Shox robust relocation mounts. This is the ultimate ride and feel for baggers.

Super Shox Relocation Mounts
Super Shox Relocation Mounts are specifically designed and engineered to be used with the Premium and Platinum Series of Super Shox. Made from 6061 Aluminum and precision machined with a Steel stud mounting point.
The mounts are properly positioned to have adequate clearance with the shock and saddle bags. They are easily installed and lock into the swing arm for a solid connection that makes these safe, secure, strong, durable and some of the best-looking mounts available.
With the Super Shox Premium and Platinum Series riders can be assured that the overall ride quality will NOT be compromised. We have engineered the proper shock valving and spring rate to work with the increased angle and location and an end result being an incredible ride that is better than in the stock location.
